Lowfat Molasses cookies


2   1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsps ground ginger
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup margarine (softened) (I use: ¼ C soft butter, ¼ C oil, ¼ C applesauce)
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp water
1/4 cup molasses

2 tbsps white sugar
